(https://www.fairview.org/benefits)Responsibilities Job DescriptionThe Primary Care Clinic Supervisor is responsible for managing the operations of designated staff. Provides work flow direction and management that is consistent with achieving department and organizational objectives. Other duties include achieving coordination, consistency, and integration in the operation of the clinic site, assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, assisting in strategic planning and budgeting, and leading and/or participating in improvement projects/teams.Sustain and mentor front line staff around quality and continuous improvement within service line.Communicates quality data and seeks out opportunities to improve patient care and ensures understanding of the data and its importance.Helps create a culture of quality and continuous improvement through mentoring front line staff.Facilitate a site-based approach to continuous improvement that links with service line strategy.Supports a daily process for collecting and,monitoring quality and continuous improvement exists for assigned area. Teach and mentor any tools cascaded by the system, such as the Daily Engagement System to achieve this.Implementation of any needed plans for course correction of negative conditions that have been determined by collection of quality data on assigned area.Manage day to day operations of operating a primary care clinic in the following ways:Leadership of clinical staff, including Registered NursesWorks collaboratively with leadership and other organizational partners to ensure efficient and safe day to day operations of the site(s)Promotes, supports, and participates in process improvement, quality initiatives, and innovation.Accountable for initial and ongoing clinical competencies for staffEnsures effective and timely communication of relevant information as appropriate.Provides guidance to ensure performance management aspects such as mentoring, coaching, individual development etc. are in place and holds staff accountable to expectations.Fosters an environment in which the team holds each other accountable to MHealth Fairview commitments.Anticipates and responds to physician/provider staffing needs and assures that support staff are appropriately scheduled to maximize efficiency, access, and patient demand.Performs appropriate due diligence to resolve patient and staff concerns.Collaborates with leadership to help collect data through use of reporting to analyze, forecast, plan and direct clinic operations.Actively supports the recruitment, orientation, and promotes the engagement of Registered Nurses staffPractices as a financial steward; provides input as appropriate related to clinic budget.Develops and maintains a healthy, supportive work environment, demonstrating behaviors consistent with MHealth Fairview commitments.Build credibility with medical staff as a champion for patient care and quality.Models' appreciation and acceptance of differences.Provides a welcoming and supportive environment.Continuously takes action to enhance employee engagement.Exemplifies excellent customer relations in interactions with patients, visitors, physicians, and employees.Continuously builds customer understanding by listening to customers.Anticipates customer needs, including those with different cultural needs and desires.Takes action to meet and exceed the needs of all customer groups.Continuously implements strategies to improve customer satisfaction.QualificationsRequiredBachelor's degree in Nursing1-2 years of demonstrated leadership experienceMinnesota RN licensePreferredAdditional education in healthcare, business or related field3-5 years of previous supervisory/management experienceEEO StatementEEO/AA Employer/Vet/Disabled: All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to any lawfully protected status
