Job Description:
- This position includes both conservative and surgical
management of complex acute and chronic conditions of the foot,
ankle, and related structures of the leg.
- Works collaboratively as a team member with both the inpatient
and outpatient podiatrists and their teams as well as with the
other specialties involved with the patient's care.
- Will provide outpatient clinical services for hospital
discharged patients on a rotating basis.
- Strong surgical background and experience in diabetic limb
salvage with wound care experience. Fellowship preferred, but not
required.
- There will be rotational weekday evening and weekend call.
- Proficient and experienced with EPIC type EMR system

year.Practice Specifics:
- Schedule: 8 hr day shifts
- You will rotate weekend and evening call with the other
podiatrists covering both Abbott and United Hospitals when on call
(typically once every 8 weeks).Requirements:
- Doctoral/Ph.D. level advanced degree in Doctor of Medicine,
Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine or foreign equivalent from an
approved school of medicine required and
- Completion of a 24 month residency in Podiatric Medicine and
Surgery in a program approved by the Council on Podiatric Medical
Education (CPME) required
- At least 1 year of demonstrated experience in designated
specialty area required
- Licensed Physician - MN Board of Medical Practice required upon
hire and
- ACLS-BLS Tier 3 - Multisource required within 180 Days and
- PALS - Pediatric Advance Life Support - Multisource required
depending on business unit upon hire and
- NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation - Multisource required depending
on business unit upon hire
- Licensed Physician - WI upon hire required and
- Board Certification or Board Eligible by the American Board of
Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ABFAS) upon hire required and
- Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate upon hire required and
- Prescription Monitoring Program upon hire required and
- National Provider Identifier upon hire requiredCompensation &

- 5 weeks of time away year one; 6 weeks of time away year two
and beyond
