We have been retained by an exciting yet stable organization in the FinTech space to identify their next VP of Software Engineering. Reporting to the CIO, the VP of Software Engineering will lead a team of -50 engineers in a truly transformational change for the organization focusing on new digital products. The organization has 1,500 employees, and the CIO is excited about driving innovation with these new products, including developing microservices & APIs for their partners.This role is definitely a 'build' role; not just products, but also developing & cultivating a modern team of software engineers focused on some of the latest & greatest technology. Unlike many organizations looking to do this work, this organization is extremely stable and has the backing of the CEO to pursue these initiatives because they are not just technological initiatives, but organizational ones.Our client offers a robust package overall, including a strong base + bonus, along with a strong benefits package.Our client maintains a hybrid schedule, so the candidate will need to reside in the Twin Cities area or the surrounding states with regular travel to Minneapolis. They are not providing visa sponsorship at this time.
