Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Medical Billing and
Collections Manager to oversee billing and collections processes in
a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily operations of the medical billing department, ensuring
accurate and timely claims submission
Develop strategies to minimize outstanding receivables and resolve
payment issues
Lead and mentor the billing and collections team, fostering
continuous process improvement
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in medical billing and collections, with at
least 3 years in a managerial role
Strong knowledge of healthcare billing, coding (ICD, CPT, HCPCS),
and payer regulations
Proven track record of improving billing and collection
operations
Experience in reducing accounts receivable days and optimizing
revenue cycle processes
